That physical exercise may strengthen our cardiocirculatory system is now a given confirmed by numerous general medical and particularly by sports studies. When carried out correctly, exercise results in greater and better blood circulation in the various organs, including muscles. The greater “perfusion” or passage of blood in the muscles and elsewhere creates optimum exchange of nutrients and improves the elimination of toxins between organ and blood. The latest studies show that this effect arises out of vasodilation whose mediator is nitric oxide (NO), a substance produced by our body starting with arginine. The enzyme responsible for the production of NO is called NO synthase (NOS). The NO produced by the vascular endothelium on the musculature (nonstriated) of the blood vessels produces relaxation and consequent vasodilation. In physiological terms, NO action forms the basis of the muscles’ response during a warm-up that every athlete experiences when doing specific exercises before making sub-maximal or maximal efforts.
The possibility of sustaining muscular vasodilation is therefore an important aspect in optimising physical performance, beginning with a more effective warm-up phase. From this point of view, NITROWATT contains a series of nutrients able to sustain NO production and strengthen the physiological effects. It rightfully belongs with the products described as “volumisers”, “pre-work out”, that is, taking it “prepares” the athlete for a session of intense and strenuous exercise by optimising the warm-up phase
The effects of the product are due to the following substances: arginine (arginine α-ketoglutarate) is the substrate par excellence for the formation of NO by NOS enzyme action (although not crucial in this formula, that α-ketoglutarate acts as a general metabolic activator, acting anabolically, is not to be neglected); phosphates and nicotinammide are precursors of the NADPH molecule that is indispensable (as an enzymatic co-factor) in NO formation.The direct addition of NADPH was deliberately avoided as it is an unstable molecule and absolutely incapable of reaching its own site of action (inside the cells) following oral assumption. On the contrary, nicotinammide (Vitamin PP) is able to reach the sites in which it is needed for ex novo synthesis of NADPH. Using various biochemical mechanisms, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and folic acid are able to sustain and strengthen NO production. For over 40 year we have known about the properties of quercitine (a natural compound widely occurring in the natural world) that combat capillary fragility. We now know that this effect is caused by this substance significantly increasing NO production.
It is important to remember that the arginine produced by the body (non essential amino acid) rarely meets the body’s needs, above all during the growth phase and when intense effort is made. This means that endogenous production needs to be supplemented by exogenous assumption of arginine. The addition of citrulline also partially satisfies this need in that the substance is a precursor to arginine. This can therefore be synthesised by citrulline when required. Since NO synthesis produces only one opportunity, favourable and time limited, for the exchange of substances between blood and muscle, NITROWATT contains creatine ethyl ester, a second generation creatine (more stable, more soluble, more bio-available) that through the greater vasodilation can easily enter the muscular tissue and exercise its ergogenic action.
Instructions (sport):
Using Nitrowatt assumes vasodilation increases (volumiser) and so is indicated for muscular warm-up phases, above all in power sports. Should lactic acid accumulate (in both power and stamina resistance sports), Nitrowatt can drain these toxins more effectively and improve muscle recovery.
