MASS FORMULA is a supplement based on carbohydrates (maltodextrin, fructose) and high biological value proteins obtained from milk (ultrafiltrated seroproteins). Vitamins, minerals, and an entire series of important substances in muscle physiology have been added to these in the blend. The macronutrients blend (65% carbohydrates, 20% protein) is nutritionally balanced so that it is easily assimilated and digested. This product has been developed for athletes who must confront intense races or training sessions and who must frequently feed themselves. It forms an alternative to one or more of the main meals. MASS FORMULA falls into the family of so-called “Gainers”. Nevertheless, its large quantities of important nutrients means it is excellent for muscle recovery after power exercise, and so is a “post workout blend”.
One of the additional substances is creatinine (increases power in anaerobic alactacid exercise), the others are carnitine (indispensable for lipid catabolism: fat burning), glutamine (sustains muscle protein anabolism; strengthens the immune system), lipoic acid (fat burning action indirectly increases glucidic metabolism), ZMA™ (supports anabolic hormones produced by the body, and is a blend of zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6), and lastly taurine (improved excitability of cardiac and muscular membranes, antioxidant action).
MASS FORMULAis useful for low fat content hypercalorific diets. Including carnitine and lipoic acid in the product tends to facilitate energy metabolism of lipids and carbohydrates, facilitating increase in lean mass (muscle mass) and decreasing fatty tissue.
Instructions:
SPORT: use the product 1–2 hours before a race or tiring training session. Given the high energy content, the product is assumed in proportion to the number of calories required for the physical activity undertaken. Post workout, assume the product 30-60 minutes from the end of the training session. Here too the dose must be in proportion to the calories burnt. 100 gr of this product are dissolved in at least 300 ml of water or skimmed milk.
dosage: divide the assumption during the day according to the activity. Each measuring provides approximately 40 kcal.
EVERYDAY LIFE: The product lends itself to being a substitute for main meals. Indicated for calorie counting diets. The product is suitable for and appreciated by the elderly suffering from lack of appetite (secondary to various pathologies) and/or problems chewing food. Indicated for subjects who must reduce their intake of fats (hyperlipidemy, hypercholesteorlemy, etc.) or meat (hyperuricemia, gout, urate nephropathy)
